What is the Virtual Rhodes Center?

The Virtual Rhodes Center is a gathering place for anyone who has ever participated in the All-Ohio State Fair Band. This includes current members, staff, alumni, and prospective members. The Virtual Rhodes Center helps the AOSFB community stay informed about AOSFB happenings, and also provides a place to share memories of Ohio State Fair experiences.

So what do I do to join?

The easiest way is to use the box above. You can also send an email to rhodescenter-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Please note it may take a while for your membership to go through, as I (as the list manager) must approve all membership requests, but I can't think of anyone I'd deny a membership to as long as they were a part of the All-Ohio State Fair Band in some manner - current members, prospective members, alumni, or staff members are all welcome.

Can I post files up?

Sure, why not? You can post any type of file up, including, but not limited to: We can have up to 50MB of stuff (30 MB for pictures, and 20MB for other files) on at once! If you're going to post something that's over 300KB in size, please get ahold of the list manager (look for the email addy below) and run it by me first.
If we do start running out of space, I may ask people who have posted large files to take them down.
 

So, who are these "list manager" people you're talking about?

They are members of the SFB community first and foremost. The people I have chosen as my "partners in crime" are some of the most respected members of that community. I can count on them to help me with almost anything. I hope you'll get to know them, as well.
